Laetitia Mayne
I have been a Governor since 2010 and am a member of the School Improvement Committee for the Primary School and Duchy Academy Trust. In my professional role I am the Team Lead for the Children, Schools and Families department at Duchy College and Saltash College in East Cornwall. I have been with the College for the past 9 years and have undertaken the role of NVQ Assessor, Internal Verifier and Further Education and Higher Education Course Manager and Lecturer roles. I hold a BA Honours degree in Early Childhood Studies (University of Plymouth) and a Further Education Teaching Degree, which allowed me to complete my Qualified Teaching Status. My role within the Duchy Academy Trust has enabled me to embrace the ethos and vision attributed to it and develop a learning environment that is supportive of all.

Philip Brown
I retired in 2021, after a career in the Civil Service, and 25 years as a senior manager in Housing in Plymouth City Council with responsibilities for staff, resources, finance, IT and project management. I subsequently worked at Plymouth University organising and managing placement provision for student teachers, across BEd, PGCE Primary, Secondary and PGCE PCET programmes, and spent the last few years in an administrative role at Duchy College Stoke Climsland.
Our three sons have progressed via a local primary school, and Callington Community College.
I am keen to bring my experience and acquired knowledge to support the Trust achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
